A landscape consultation is more systematic and formal than a coaching visit. During our meeting with clients at their property, we discuss their needs, style preferences and hopes. We gather information about their landscape conditions, soils, microclimates, topography, etc. In addition to appreciating the positives elements of their site, we note its various challenges and discuss some possible options and alternative solutions. We also document existing conditions with photographs.

Following our meeting on site, we write an illustrated report with horticultural and design recommendations and plant suggestions based on the client's wishes in conjunction with their particular site.

A consultation does not include a measured and scaled conceptual plan. If more detailed design work is to be considered, a proposal would be included with the report.

The minimum fee is based on 4 hours plus travel time depending on the distance from our office.
